Unlike any system on the market the Vision comes equipped with Object Detected Dose Control (ODDC). Ziehm has replaced traditional measurement circles with a 256 cell grid that detects objects and activates automatic dose and video control in real time. This creates extraordinarily crisp images with outstanding contrast.
One of the biggest problems in demanding fields of angiography is overheating of C-arms. Standing out from other manufacturers, the Vision2 offers “ActiveCooling”, which allows for almost unlimited fluoroscopy time and has become standard in every Vision2 C-Arm. Active cooling uses a closed-loop circuit and heat exchanger integrated invisibly within the tube housing. The heat exchanger is linked to a high-capacity heat radiator located in the base of the mobile stand. This almost triples the cooling capacity when compared to the conventional units and unlike less efficient cooling fans, is totally unaffected by the use of sterile plastic covers over the tubehead.
