When it comes to compact, feature rich C-arms, there is no question Ziehm is ahead of the competition by leaps and bounds. The Solo is the most recent introduction by Ziehm and has taken compact design to a whole new level.
One of the most exciting aspects of Solo is its many configuration options. It can be equipped with an attached monitor, separate monitor cart, ceiling mounted monitor connections, or any combination of these. Customers now have much more flexibility in choosing a setup that works best for their individual needs and preferences.
In the past, compact C-arms have had limited features and capability, thus making them undesirable for many applications. In contrast, Solo is feature rich and provides excellent performance in a wide range of surgical procedures. Its monoblock pulse generator can pulse from 1 to 30 pulses/second in all fluoroscopic modes for pristine imaging at very low dose. It also combines a high dynamic CCD camera, 1k resolution and monochrone TFT monitors for further enhanced image display.
Solo is also a very simple system to operate. The touch screen interface located on the C-arm provides limitless control of the system improving workflow and ease of use. Its light weight design and compact footprint make maneuvering in the OR easier and safer for everyone.
