Prior to Ziehm introducing Flat-Panel Detectors to mobile C-arms, all systems used image intensifiers that create S-Distortion in the image. Now Ziehm's Flat-Panel C-arms display high quality images that are anatomically correct. This is vastly beneficial for procedures where a high degree of precision is necessary.
